Monday, May 29, 2023, Members of the Club, friends and relatives participated in the Hanover, PA. Memorial Day Parade.

Hanover Exchange Club Members Bob & Martha Channell (AKA General U.S. Grant and Julia Grant). Following the Parade, General Grant shared his experience when he and Julia presided over the first Decoration Day, which we now call Memorial Day in 1868 at Arlington National Cemetery.

Congratulations to the club for winning the National Outstanding Fundraising Project Award for the 2020 Builder's Home and Garden Show. Holding the Award Banner is current President Bob Channell and Bob Etzler, Builders' Show Committee Chair. The award was announced at the National Exchange Club's Virtual Convention
held July 24th & 25th.

At our December 3rd Meeting, the club heard a presentation from one of our newest members, Nate Dietrich about his Make-A-Wish Experience a few years ago. Nate's Wish was to go to New York and record Rap Music. While in New York he received Rock Star treatment. What a great experience for Nate.
Ann Waltman, Regional Manager for the Make-A-Wish Foundation in York, PA., provided an update on the latest news from the Foundation. During the meeting, the club presented a check to Ann for $4400 to grant another Wish to a local individual. Note: The club has granted a Wish to the Foundation every year since 2004.
